I have recently experienced significant pain and suffering and incurred debts related to a dental malpractice situation. The issue as hand is the use of a 'cast post and core' in the final restoration of a tooth following root canal therapy and negative consequences of doing so. Also relevant, is the dentist's lack of explanation and no consent given by me, as the patient, for such a method to be employed given the risks.
