Adjuster Jack (his real name) is an astute judge of human nature, a world traveler, and also has a keen sense of smell.  When the Rapture comes, this man should definitely get a boarding pass to wherever saved people are going, unless it's New Jersey.  In that case he'll have to take his chances with the rest of us.
