Can I Qualify fof Bankruptcy?

im a 29 year old who fell into debt after loosing my job . I had a car at the time which I paid on until I was unable and like a fool stopped payments for a few months and did not contact them and got hit with all sorts of fees. It was through a credit card I was job searching and had no luck and got behind on all my other bills. I got a job now but only take home 1,000 monthly and after paying cost of living I am unable to  make payments on the other bills with all the fees and interst. I'm getting farther behind, messed up my credit score,  and just want crediters off my back. I would pay them if I could but but feel extremely overwhelmed and seriosly behind. Do I qualify for bankruptcy?

If you income is only $12,000 a year, including whatever you earned in the last 6 months, you probably have a good shot at passing the means test.

But, for all we know, you may have more property than you are allowed to exempt, etc.
