Petitioning for a hardship licence without a lawyer

My name is Cale Mahan. I am on a 10 year denial of driving privileges as of 12/05. I am elegible to try and get a limited driving privilege as of 12/08. I have completed SATOP and am aware that I need SR-22 insurance and a ignition interlock device installed on my car to be considered. My last step is to petition the Platte county courthouse to hear my case. This is where I possibly need some help. All of my 3 DUI's took place in Platte county and the most recent was in 05'. I have served all my time and am not on probation. I have had zero run-ins with the law since 05' and would think the process of gettin a LDP would be fairly simple. I am trying to do this without a lawyer. I just need to know how to petition platte county court for my hardship licence. Any help would be appreciated.

We cannot give you step by step instructions. For one thing, I don;t think any of the attorneys are from your state. You need to educate yourself on the practices and procedures in your area.

Here's an article on the subject:

And here's the form mentioned in the article:

    http://dor.mo.gov/mvdl...
