    Played by the rules...now what?

I have been seperated and living in Virginia for the past 3 years. I flew to Texas this past Thurs. Court for divorce was Friday, judge denied divorce stating that spouse had to have some type of ad litem due to the house??  I&n... done EVERYTHING the courts told me to do from having him served (he refused to sign) then moved out of the house that I have been paying the mortgage on for the past 3 years and now I can't find him. I tried to have him served in Dallas (found his address on the internet) but server told me when he presented papers that he was told it was the wrong guy. I had filed all the paperwork that courts required Citations and doing a publication in the newspaper.  Drove back to VA in a uhaul hardly filled with what I could salvage of  the house.  The house is so trashed it would take 20-30K to fix it up and I don't have the money for that.

I don't know where to go from here? File in Virginia? Let house go into foreclosure before the divorce is final?

Well, if you've been doing this without an attorney, you certainly need one now.
