    contract agreement

I signed a membership agreement on 2/5.  After I went home an reviewed the information given to me an I realized this agreement had a forged signature.  On the contract there&nb... a signature of the gentleman I had gone to this business with, but he had left before I had set down with the agreement.  There also were changes made to the amount of the agreement that were intialed by the person at the business but not myself.  When I called the business on 2/6 to discuss with them my conerns they stated that "Jim would call me within one to two hours."  I still haven't heard from Jim.  My question is do I have grounds to request this contract to be made null/void, I really do not want to business with, people who have not integrity, honesty or values.

The time to review the agreement is BEFORE you sign it.

    You can certainly request it.

But if you signed something without carefully and thoroughly reading and understanding it and taking your signed copy with you, then you are probably stuck.

If the other person's signature was forged, I strongly suggest that the other person get the police involved. That might put enough pressure on the business to convince them to cancel the contract.
