    Question [=?] Hearing

If I settle do I lose my insurance coverage and have to pay for separate insurance for the injuries? I was out of work on compensation for a year and then retired. What is MedRecovery Management and WellChoice, Inc and why would they be a part of my hearing.

A settlement (that is, a section 32 agreement to settle your case), is an agreement which can retain medical coverage, or end it. It depends on what is negotiated in the agreement. That will only be for medical coverage related to your compensable body parts. If there is other health insurance, that is likely covered by your union/association contract with the employer.

The other parties you mention sound like some of your medical may have been paid by private insurance at some time, and the private insurance carrier is looking to be reimbursed, or medical bills have been denied and these groups are attempting to get the paid.
